Introducing the Busy Mom Cookbook



Hey there! I’m Alexa, the head nutrition coach at ACF, and I’m excited to share something I’ve been working on—our brand-new Busy Mom Cookbook! Anne and I work closely with so many incredible women who juggle the demands of family, work, and everything else life throws their way. We see firsthand how easy it is to let healthy eating slip to the bottom of the to-do list, especially when time is tight.

That’s why this cookbook was born. We wanted to create something practical that fits into the chaotic lives of busy women. This is not just a collection of recipes—it's a tool designed to help you simplify meal planning, nourish your family, and create balance in your day-to-day routine.

Why Balance Matters

Finding balance in a busy life is crucial, especially when you’re trying to manage multiple responsibilities. When we let one area of our lives consume all our energy, like work or family, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, burnt out, and even neglect the things that matter to us—like our health and well-being. But when you find that sweet spot where everything works together, life becomes a lot more manageable and fulfilling.

That's what I love about nutrition and meal planning. It's an area where, with just a little effort upfront, you can make a huge difference in your overall well-being. By simplifying the way we approach food, we can free up mental space, reduce stress, and focus on what really matters—whether that’s spending time with your kids, getting ahead at work, or simply taking a moment for yourself.

 

Simplifying with a System

At ACF, we’re big fans of simplifying areas of our lives where we can save time and energy—meal planning being one of the top ones. When you plan ahead, use simple ingredients, and prepare meals in batches, you’re able to make nourishing choices without the added stress of daily decision-making. It’s a way of strategizing on efficiency so you can spend more time doing what you love (and less time in the kitchen).

 

In this cookbook, I’ve pulled together a set of recipes that are:
